We rely on our local partners’ expertise to respond to local needs and deliver community centred and sustainable education projects.
Women-led
We work with local woman-led partners who share our mission of empowering women and girls through education.
Sustainable change
We believe that real change takes time. We partner with projects that provide long-term solutions to education.
With our partners, we develop and deliver projects to improve access to quality education and formal work. Every project is tailored to a community’s needs, so access to quality education and good work looks different in each of our projects. However, each partner incorporates the following elements:
Quality Education
We believe that quality education is not just about being in the classroom or getting certificates, but about developing skills that improve day-to-day life and can have a long-term impact.
Family Engagement
We believe it is critical to consider family involvement when it comes to learning and achievement. Our partners encourage family support and engagement in education.
Mentoring
We recognise that simply providing access to resources is not enough. Mentoring can help improve school attendance and overcome certain gender-specific barriers to education.
Empowering spaces
We recognise that poor infrastructure and unsafe environments often act as direct barriers for girls’ education. Our partners deliver projects in places that make women and girls feel comfortable and safe.
Sustainable employment
We support vocational training programmes that enable women to use their education to find high-quality employment.
We work differently with each partner, according to their needs. Our partners see each woman and girl as an individual.
We believe that investing in local expertise is the best way to create long-term impact. Our partners have years of experience and local knowledge, which enables us to deliver together the best educational projects for women and girls.
What is our relationship with partners?
Because we are partners, we work as equals. According to the needs of each partner, we offer support by raising awareness and funds as well as by sharing our knowledge and expertise. The partner delivers the project that we develop together.

We expect that our partners share our vision of a future where women and girls are leaders in their own lives. Each partner is also dedicated to empowering women and girls through education and giving them the tools to succeed and access quality work.
